North Sea Aquaculture Efficiency (Norway)

The Leaching Paradox

A major Norwegian salmon feed producer faced a critical "Leaching" issue. Highly soluble vitamins and minerals were washing out of the feed pellets before the fish could consume them in the turbulent North Sea cages. This led to poor Feed Conversion Ratios (FCR) and increased environmental pollution.

The Silfeed Intervention

Silfeed HC-100 was integrated into the core of the vitamin premix. By leveraging its molecular-level hydrophobicity, the carrier acted as a "water-repellent lock." This kept the water out of the micro-pores while maintaining the nutrient payload until the moment of digestion in the salmon's gut.
